I like both, and like the way you did the border art. The fish is a happier message, but for some reason, I keep going back to the cat and pigeons. Nice movement.
I created these illustrations for an assignment for the graphic design and illustration course that I'm doing. They were designed as double-page spreads with the illustrations on the left and the text on the right hand pages. I really enjoyed doing them!
